The Master Printmakers Gala at The Drawing Studio wowed art lovers, especially those who appreciate the conversation between the tool and the wood, the ink and the paper.

On the heels of one fantastic show comes another, this time comprising contemporary artists studying and working at The Drawing Studio.

The Tool, Metal, Ink, Wood, Paper exhibit shows myriad art created by artists using the tools and processes of printmaking, tool, metal, ink, wood, and paper, relief and intaglio,

done in the print room and working with other printmakers at TDS. Founded by and nurtured by Andy Rush, The Drawing Studio is a place to learn, develop and to grow,

as an artist and as a vibrant member of the community. Discover the art of printmaking at The Drawing Studio at the Tool, Metal, Ink, Wood, Paper exhibit.

Martin Mazorra of Cannonball Press was there with The 30-minute zine  project. I had flashbacks to Boston 1987. Martin is one great guy, sorry I missed the opening at Mad Art Gallery.
